PG-PRS methodology

Evidence first. Assumptions visible. Limitations stated.

Project Guru is designed to make construction paperwork easier to interrogate without pretending that software can replace inspection, professional judgement or legal advice. The PG-PRS result reflects the evidence supplied and the requirements that are applicable at that stage.

01

Read the supplied evidence

Project Guru extracts the project facts and document evidence that are actually present in the files supplied. Missing evidence is not silently assumed.

02

Apply structured PG-PRS requirements

Relevant requirements are assessed according to the project and document stage. Conditional or future-stage requirements are excluded where their trigger is not evidenced.

03

Resolve objective checks deterministically

Where Project Guru can make an objective check in software — for example price/payment reconciliation, document presence or applicability rules — deterministic logic takes priority over ambiguous model interpretation.

04

Present strengths, gaps and questions

The result separates positive evidence from unresolved documentation gaps and turns material gaps into practical questions to resolve before proceeding.

What the score means

Document assurance, not contractor approval.

A higher score means the supplied paperwork gives stronger documented assurance against the applicable PG-PRS requirements.
A low score means material evidence is missing, unclear or inconsistent in the supplied pack; it is not an allegation of poor workmanship or dishonesty.
Critical missing evidence can cap the overall result even when other sections are strong.
Requirements that are genuinely not applicable at the current stage are excluded rather than automatically scored as failures.

Where AI is used

AI helps read evidence. It does not get the final word on objective rules.

AI-assisted extraction is useful for reading varied contractor documents and identifying candidate evidence. Project Guru then applies structured checks, deterministic guardrails and cross-document reconciliation where possible. If the supplied evidence cannot support a conclusion, the system should expose the uncertainty rather than manufacture certainty.

The exact internal scoring implementation, anti-abuse controls and proprietary requirement mappings are not published because they form part of the Project Guru system and need to remain resistant to gaming.

Important boundaries

Not a survey

Project Guru cannot inspect hidden conditions, verify workmanship on site or replace a structural, building-control or specialist inspection.

Not legal advice

Contract and consumer-rights observations are document-assurance prompts, not legal advice or a substitute for a solicitor where legal advice is needed.

Not contractor accreditation

PG-PRS is Project Guru’s own framework. A result is not government, CTSI, FHIO, TrustMark or BSI approval of a contractor or project.

Evidence is only as complete as the pack

If a relevant certificate, schedule, contract term or other record exists but was not supplied, Project Guru cannot treat it as evidenced.

See it in practice

Run the free readiness screen first, then check the actual paperwork if you need evidence-based assurance.
