Terms & Conditions
Version 1.8 · Effective 22 September 2026 · Last updated 22 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain the terms on which you may access and use Project Guru. Project Guru is owned and operated by Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd.
By creating an account or using Project Guru you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
A. Who we are
Project Guru is owned and operated by Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15923334), whose registered office is at 20 Gallery Lane, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, United Kingdom, S42 7ES.
In these Terms, “Project Guru”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd and its trading name Project Guru. “You” refers to the user of the service.
B. Eligibility
Paid accounts and project-generation services are intended for people aged 18 or over. By using Project Guru you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate.
C. What Project Guru provides
Project Guru is a digital construction and DIY project-planning platform. Depending on your account and the features available, it may provide:
- AI-generated project guidance and project summaries
- step-by-step instructions, sub-steps and day-by-day programmes
- estimated durations and indicative cost information
- materials lists, tool lists and safety guidance
- project-specific waste-management/removal planning, reuse/recycling guidance and indicative waste-logistics comparisons where available
- downloadable documents and Gantt charts
- links to third-party suppliers and affiliate retailer links
- estate-agent Property Renovation Potential Reports, branch report credits/subscriptions, secure buyer renovation handovers and Buyer Renovation Packs where those services are available
- the ability to refer a project to Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd
The precise functionality may evolve over time, and we may add, change or remove features. Any new features will be subject to these Terms unless stated otherwise.
D. AI-generated content
Project Guru uses automated and AI systems to help generate project information. AI-generated information can contain errors, omissions or assumptions.
Project Guru is a planning and informational tool. It does not replace a site-specific inspection, structural design, Building Control decision, planning decision, professional specification or regulated trade certification. You must consider the actual condition and construction of your property.
Project Guru is not a professional certification. Particular care is needed for specialist areas including structural alterations, gas, electrical works, asbestos, fire safety, load-bearing construction, drainage where approvals are required, work requiring Building Regulations approval, planning permission, party wall matters, specialist waterproofing or design, and any safety-critical work.
For regulated or specialist work you should use appropriately competent and, where legally required, registered professionals.
E. Estimates
Estimated prices and labour are indicative, project durations are indicative, and materials quantities should be checked before ordering. Retailer prices and availability may change.
Waste quantities, predicted loose-waste volumes, skip/grab suitability, removal-route recommendations and £/m³ comparisons are indicative project-planning outputs, not a waste classification, carrier/facility authorisation check, permit approval or live quotation. Actual cost and suitability depend on the waste produced, weight, contamination, postcode, site access, permits, haulage distance, provider terms and current law. Verify the waste stream and obtain local authorised-provider quotations before booking removal.
Estimates are not quotations from Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd. A referral to Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd does not create a construction contract. Any quotation or contract for construction work from Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd is a separate agreement between you and the company.
F. User accounts
A Project Guru account is optional for eligible Personal homeowner guest purchases. If you choose to register, you must provide accurate registration information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly tell us of any unauthorised use of your account.
You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary, for example to protect the service, other users, or where there is misuse or fraud. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Accounts are personal. You must not share an account or login where this would circumvent Project Guru’s pricing model.
G. Project Guru Planning Balance and project pricing
Project Guru uses a Planning Balance denominated in pounds and pence for ease of understanding. Planning Balance is a contractual service entitlement only: it is not money, electronic money, a bank account, a stored-value payment account or an investment, is non-transferable, and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash except where a refund is required by law or expressly agreed by Project Guru.
Project pricing is based on both the licence selected for that project and the planning complexity assessed by Project Guru before the full project is generated. Current Personal prices are Easy £4.99, Moderate £7.49, Hard £9.99 and Expert £14.99 including VAT. Current Professional prices are Easy £19.99, Moderate £29.99, Hard £39.99 and Expert £59.99 including VAT. Professional + Platinum is a separate premium add-on for an existing Professional project. Its standard RRP is £249.99 including VAT, with a £199.99 including-VAT Launch/Beta price for the first 20 completed Platinum purchases. Platinum is purchased separately by card and does not consume Planning Balance.
You will see the assessed complexity, licence type and complete project price before accepting and generating a project. You must not deliberately misdescribe the project or select a Personal licence to avoid the correct Professional price.
Where your Planning Balance is insufficient for an accepted project, Project Guru may offer a project-specific top-up for the shortfall. Promotional or membership Planning Balance may be used subject to the terms of the applicable promotion or membership benefit.
Purchased Planning Balance does not expire unless clearly stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Statutory rights are not affected by anything in this section.
H. Personal and Professional project licences
Each generated project is licensed as either Personal or Professional. The licence is project-specific and is recorded against the generated project and its document reference.
A Personal licence is for the purchaser's own genuine personal, non-commercial property project, whether purchased through an account or eligible guest checkout. Personal-licence outputs must not be presented to a paying client, incorporated into a contractor quotation or tender, supplied as paid consultancy, resold, or used as part of a professional construction, property, design or project-management service.
A Professional licence permits the licensed user or business to use the generated outputs in connection with the named commercial/client project, including presentation of those project documents to that project's client. It does not permit resale, sublicensing or white-labelling of Project Guru itself, bulk generation for unrelated third parties outside the paid licence, or removal of Project Guru's proprietary rights.
Professional + Platinum is an optional project-specific commercial-document add-on to a valid Professional project. It may generate a controlled client-facing pack containing a project-specific service-level-agreement template, cost plan, programme, payment schedule, procurement and client-decision checkpoints, waste-management/removal and sustainability controls, variation and snagging registers, warranty/defects controls and versioned document references. Platinum does not create a solicitor-client relationship, does not constitute legal advice and does not guarantee that a contract term is suitable or enforceable for a particular project. The Professional user must review the generated pack before client issue or signature and obtain independent legal advice where appropriate.
The Professional user is responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate lawful basis or authority to enter client/project information into Platinum, for avoiding unnecessary personal or sensitive information, and for checking that the client name, site address, contract value, payment stages, scope, statutory responsibilities and other project-specific details are accurate before issue.
Where project wording clearly indicates client, contractor or commercial use, Project Guru may require the Professional licence. We may also ask a user to reconfirm project use where there is reasonable evidence of licence misuse. We will not rely solely on technical project difficulty as evidence of commercial use.
An estate agent's Property Renovation Potential Report is a commercial estate-agent product powered by a Professional project entitlement. A subsequent buyer handover does not transfer that Professional licence to the purchaser. A purchaser carrying out genuine private work on their own home may create new Personal projects under the normal Personal pricing rules; landlord, developer, client or other commercial use remains subject to Professional licensing. Professional + Platinum remains an optional commercial add-on to an eligible Professional project rather than a compulsory homeowner upgrade.
I. Payment
Payments are processed using Project Guru’s authorised payment provider, currently Stripe where technically applicable. Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd does not store full card numbers. The payment processor may process payment information under its own privacy terms.
The complete price is displayed before you commit to payment. We do not add hidden or mandatory charges later in checkout. Eligible Personal homeowner projects may be purchased through guest checkout without first creating a Project Guru account; the payment email and secure purchase reference are used to provide access, and registration can be offered afterwards without a second charge.
Professional + Platinum is paid as a separate one-off Stripe checkout for the specific Professional project and is not deducted from Project Guru Planning Balance. The server-side Platinum price applicable at checkout is used to create and verify the Stripe session.
Estate-agent branches may receive one promotional pilot report credit and may then buy Property Renovation Potential Reports on a pay-as-you-go basis or, where offered, subscribe to an Estate Agent Partner plan. Current launch pricing is £39.99 including VAT per PAYG report; Estate Agent Partner is £99.99 per month including VAT with 4 report credits per billing period and £24.99 additional reports; Estate Agent Partner Plus is £199.99 per month including VAT with 10 report credits per billing period and £19.99 additional reports. The checkout and partner dashboard show the authoritative current price before purchase.
Where enabled, a successful purchaser claim of an estate-agent buyer handover may award the originating branch one promotional report credit. Promotional report credits have no cash redemption value and are used only against eligible estate-agent report generation.
The Buyer Renovation Pack is an optional one-off buyer product currently priced at £59.99 including VAT. Claiming a property handover itself is free. The Buyer Renovation Pack provides a planning-level whole-property roadmap and does not purchase construction work, transfer the estate agent's Professional licence, or include Professional + Platinum unless separately eligible and purchased.
PG-PRS Quote Check is a separately purchased document-assurance service. A single assessment is £29.99 including VAT and includes up to 8 documents for one contractor quote pack. The 3-Quote Comparison is £59.99 including VAT and includes up to 8 documents for each of three contractor quote packs. Additional documents above 8 are charged at £2.99 including VAT per document for each quote pack, subject to the technical maximum shown at checkout. The exact total is calculated and displayed before payment.
J. Cancellation and refunds
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any statutory cancellation rights.
Where a statutory 14-day cancellation right applies to an online purchase, it is explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Unused purchased Planning Balance is not automatically treated as non-refundable.
Where Planning Balance has already been used to request and receive an immediately generated Project Guru service or output, the consumed part is distinguished from any unused balance. Defective or improperly supplied digital content or services remain subject to applicable consumer rights.
For Professional + Platinum, payment purchases the project-specific digital pack entitlement. Pack generation begins only when the Professional user requests generation after payment. Where applicable law requires express consent or acknowledgement for immediate digital/service performance during a cancellation period, Project Guru requests that acknowledgement before supply begins. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Where supply/performance begins immediately and UK law requires an express request and acknowledgement relating to cancellation rights, we will ask for that acknowledgement at checkout before the service begins. This also applies to eligible Personal guest project purchases, where generation may begin immediately after confirmed payment. Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method, and duplicate or erroneous transactions are investigated fairly.
Estate Agent Partner subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Where Stripe billing management is available, the account holder can use the billing portal to manage or cancel the subscription for future renewal. Cancellation does not remove statutory rights or automatically create a refund for services or billing periods already supplied; any refund entitlement is assessed under applicable law and this policy.
For PG-PRS Quote Check and 3-Quote Comparison, the checkout asks for an express request to begin the digital assessment immediately after payment. Where cancellation rights are affected by immediate supply under applicable law, Project Guru applies those rules only to the extent permitted by law. A failed, defective or improperly supplied assessment remains subject to statutory rights and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
K. Service quality / consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. We do not attempt to exclude rights relating to digital content or services being supplied as agreed or with legally required standards.
L. Intellectual property and project licences
Project Guru branding, application design, databases, proprietary templates, workflow structures, project-generation methodology, procurement systems, documentation formats, written structures, software and other proprietary platform elements remain owned by or licensed to Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd.
Your right to use a generated project document is governed by the Personal or Professional project licence accepted for that project. No project licence transfers ownership of Project Guru itself or grants a licence to reproduce the platform, its source code, protected workflows, proprietary prompt structures, database design or commercial operating methods.
Except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot lawfully be restricted, you must not copy, clone, reproduce, adapt, distribute, resell, license, systematically extract, scrape, decompile, reverse engineer or create a substantially derivative commercial service from Project Guru or its proprietary platform elements without our prior written permission.
You must not use automated access, benchmarking, repeated extraction or other techniques principally intended to reconstruct Project Guru’s proprietary workflows, project-generation methodology, supplier/procurement logic or commercial product for a competing or substantially similar service.
Project Guru™ and the Project Guru logo are brand identifiers used by Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd. Access to the service does not grant permission to use those identifiers as your own, apply them to unrelated goods or services, or imply sponsorship, approval or affiliation that does not exist.
You may share a genuine generated output only to the extent allowed by its applicable project licence and for the named project or property and its intended recipients. That permission does not allow general redistribution, template extraction, white-labelling, resale or removal of copyright, trade mark, licence or document-reference markings in order to conceal the source.
Except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot lawfully be restricted, you must not use Project Guru source code, outputs, reports, data, benchmarks or repeated queries to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop a competing or substantially similar AI model, dataset, application or service without our prior written permission.
You must not register, use or promote a company or trading name, domain name, social-media handle, logo, advertising or presentation that falsely implies it is Project Guru or is authorised by, sponsored by or connected with Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd.
Suspected impersonation or unauthorised commercial copying may be reported to info@bespokeprojectsconstructioncoltd.co.uk. We may preserve evidence and take proportionate action to protect our rights, while respecting applicable law and third-party rights.
We do not promise that AI-generated content is unique. We do not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, retailer information or content you upload.
M. User-uploaded content
You retain your rights in photographs and other content you upload. You grant Project Guru and its service providers a limited licence to process uploaded content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and improve the service in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
You must have the right to upload any content you submit, and you must not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive or malicious content.
Project Guru uses AI services to generate project information from your inputs, including any images you upload. We do not represent that uploaded content is never processed by our AI or model providers. Where possible we work with our service providers to limit use of customer content for unrelated model training. Please avoid uploading images containing unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
N. Third-party retailers
Project Guru may provide links to third-party suppliers. Purchases made from those retailers form a separate contract between you and the retailer.
Project Guru is not responsible for retailer stock levels, delivery, warranties, retailer product descriptions or retailer price changes, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
O. Affiliate links
Project Guru may earn commission from qualifying purchases made using certain links. Affiliate relationships do not make the retailer part of Project Guru.
Affiliate arrangements are treated as an additional revenue source only. They do not determine which products are selected, which retailers are included, or the order in which retailer options are shown. Product suitability, specification match, safety, availability and price come first. Where no approved affiliate relationship exists, we may still provide the direct retailer link. See our Affiliate & Commercial Disclosure for details.
P. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where UK law does not permit it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory consumer rights.
For other losses, our liability is limited to what is reasonable and proportionate. We do not cap financial liability at an arbitrary figure without flagging it for legal review; if a specific cap is introduced it will be set out clearly and reviewed for fairness.
Q. Termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may close or suspend an account where reasonably necessary, including for serious misuse or deliberate licence circumvention, subject to applicable law.
If Project Guru permanently terminates the service other than because of serious user misconduct, we will deal fairly with any unused purchased Planning Balance, for example by allowing a reasonable period to use it or providing a refund where appropriate.
R. Changes
We can update functionality and these Terms. Material changes affecting users are communicated reasonably, for example by notice in the app or by email. Continued use after a reasonable period of notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, but we will not rely on continued use alone to apply a major contractual change without appropriate notification.
S. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to your mandatory consumer rights. Nothing here is intended to deprive consumers elsewhere in the UK of their statutory rights or appropriate access to courts.
Privacy Notice
Version 1.8 · Effective 22 September 2026 · Last updated 29 September 2026
This Privacy Notice explains how Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd, as the data controller for Project Guru, collects and uses your personal information.
Data controller

- where you use PG-PRS Quote Check: the contractor quote, contract and supporting documents you upload, optional project context, automated document-assurance findings and score, document references, payment entitlement, Stripe transaction reference, and where applicable the separate quote-pack slots used for a 3-Quote Comparison
- project complexity assessments and limited commercial-use risk indicators derived from the wording of a project description to apply the correct Personal or Professional licence
B. Why we process data
We process data on the following legal bases as appropriate:
Performance of a contract — to provide your account where you choose to create one, provide secure guest access where eligible, assess the requested project, apply the selected Personal or Professional licence, calculate the quoted project price, process any guest project, Professional + Platinum entitlement, estate-agent report/branch-plan entitlement, Buyer Renovation Pack or PG-PRS Quote Check entitlement, create/claim an authorised buyer handover, and generate the digital outputs you request.
Legal obligations — for example record-keeping for payments and accounts.
Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure, improve it, prevent fraud and discourage deliberate licence/pricing circumvention, where those interests are balanced against your rights.
Consent — where required, for example optional marketing communications, non-essential analytics cookies, and an optional request-specific recovery email where you ask us to notify you when an interrupted assessment can continue. A recovery request does not subscribe you to marketing.
We do not claim that consent is the legal basis for all processing.
C. Uploaded project images
Uploaded images are processed to generate project information and to provide and secure the service. We use AI/automated tools that may process your inputs, including images.
Please do not upload images containing unnecessary sensitive or personal information. Where technically possible we minimise or strip unnecessary location/EXIF metadata, though we cannot guarantee all metadata is removed.
D. Service providers
We work with the following categories of processors, where applicable:
- Base44 — the hosting and application platform that runs Project Guru, which also provides the AI generation used for project content
- Stripe — payment processing
- Postcodes.io — UK postcode validation/geocoding for Home Assist service-area checks; we send the service property postcode, not your Project Guru password or payment-card details
- Project OSRM routing service — driving-route estimation for Home Assist service-area checks using postcode-derived coordinates; we do not send your name, email or payment-card details in the routing request
- The platform’s authentication and email capabilities, operated through Base44
We only name providers actually used. We do not invent suppliers. If we add a new processor we will update this notice.
E. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where applicable. We do not claim that all data stays in the UK unless we have verified that it does.
F. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes set out above:
- Active accounts: for the life of your account and a reasonable period after closure.
- Deleted accounts: project and content data is removed when you delete your account, though limited records may be retained for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons, and deletion from all backups is not instantaneous.
- Payment and accounting records: retained as required for legal/accounting purposes.
- Guest Personal project records: retained for the period reasonably needed to provide the purchased secure-access service and support any later optional account claim; where a guest project is claimed into an account it is thereafter linked to that account, subject to deletion rights and any payment/accounting records we must retain by law.
- Interrupted-assessment recovery contacts: retained only for the reasonable period needed to notify you and resolve the interrupted request, then deleted or anonymised unless another lawful retention reason applies.
- Support enquiries: kept for a reasonable period after resolution.
- Professional + Platinum controlled pack and issue history: retained with the user's project/account while needed to provide the purchased document service and version history, subject to account deletion, legal/accounting retention and backup limitations described in this Notice.
- Estate-agent branch/report records and buyer handovers: retained while needed to provide the report, credit, subscription, handover and reward-credit services; unclaimed handover links may expire automatically, while payment/accounting records may be retained for legal or accounting purposes.
- Buyer Renovation Pack records: retained with the purchaser's account while needed to provide the purchased pack and related handover context, subject to account deletion, legal/accounting retention and backup limitations described in this Notice.
- PG-PRS Quote Check records and uploaded contractor documents: retained with the user's account while needed to provide the purchased assessment, comparison and evidence trail, subject to account deletion, legal/accounting retention and backup limitations described in this Notice.
- Marketing records: kept while you consent, then removed or suppressed after withdrawal.
- Security logs: kept for a reasonable security-retention period.
G. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
To exercise any right, contact us at info@bespokeprojectsconstructioncoltd.co.uk. We will respond within the time required by law.
H. Automated/AI processing
We use AI/automated tools to generate project information, assess project planning complexity before generation, and analyse documents uploaded to PG-PRS Quote Check for document-assurance findings, inconsistencies, omissions and an assurance score. Project wording may also be checked for clear indicators that a project described as Personal is actually client/commercial work so that the appropriate licence can be requested.
A high commercial-use indicator can require the user to select the Professional licence for that project, but it is not used to make a legal or similarly significant decision about the person. Technical difficulty by itself is not treated as evidence that the user is a professional.
I. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim absolute security.
J. Contact
For privacy enquiries or data-rights requests, email info@bespokeprojectsconstructioncoltd.co.uk.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Version 1.5 · Effective 22 September 2026 · Last updated 22 September 2026
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Statutory cancellation rights
Where a statutory 14-day cancellation right applies to your online purchase, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving confirmation without giving a reason, unless an exception applies.
For digital content or a service that begins immediately with your express consent and acknowledgement, UK law may allow supply to begin during the cancellation period, in which case you may lose the right to cancel once supply has begun with that consent. We will always ask for the required acknowledgement before immediate supply, and we will not claim you lose a legal right merely by buying Planning Balance.
Unused Planning Balance
Unused purchased Planning Balance is not automatically treated as non-refundable. If you have unused purchased Planning Balance and you are entitled to a refund under this policy or by law, we will consider the appropriate refund. Promotional, welcome or membership Planning Balance has no cash redemption value except where the law requires otherwise.
Planning Balance already used
Where Planning Balance has been used to generate and receive a Project Guru service or output, that consumed part is treated as supplied. Eligible Personal homeowner projects may instead be purchased directly by guest checkout. For a guest project, checkout records the customer's request for immediate digital supply and the applicable acknowledgement before generation begins; the paid project remains accessible through its secure guest purchase link without compulsory registration. Where supply was defective or improperly performed, applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Professional + Platinum is a separately paid project-specific digital service. If the Platinum pack has not yet been generated, any applicable statutory cancellation right is assessed according to the law and the checkout acknowledgements. Once immediate generation has begun with the legally required request/acknowledgement, cancellation rights may be affected as permitted by law. Faulty or improperly supplied Platinum output remains subject to applicable statutory rights.
A paid Estate Agent Property Renovation Potential Report or Buyer Renovation Pack is also a separately purchased digital/service entitlement. Any applicable cancellation right is assessed according to when supply begins and the acknowledgements presented at checkout. Faulty, failed or improperly supplied outputs remain subject to applicable statutory rights.
PG-PRS Quote Check and the 3-Quote Comparison are separately purchased digital assessment services. The checkout records an express request for immediate supply before the assessment begins. Any applicable cancellation right is assessed according to the law, whether digital supply has begun, and the checkout acknowledgement. A failed, defective or improperly supplied assessment remains subject to applicable statutory rights.
Estate Agent Partner subscriptions may be cancelled for future renewal through the available Stripe billing portal. Cancellation ends future recurring billing in accordance with the billing portal/subscription state; it does not automatically refund a billing period or report entitlement already supplied. Any statutory refund or cancellation rights remain unaffected.
Faulty or failed generation
If a paid project generation or PG-PRS Quote Check fails or produces a defective result due to an error on our side, contact us and we will investigate fairly, which may mean re-supplying the service or restoring/refunding the affected paid value as appropriate.
Duplicate payments and technical errors
If you are charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, contact us with the payment references and we will review and refund any genuine duplicate charge.
How to request a refund
Email info@bespokeprojectsconstructioncoltd.co.uk with your account email and payment reference. We will acknowledge your request and aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. We do not promise that every purchase is refundable, and we do not say that every purchase is non-refundable.
Project Guru Safety & Professional Advice Disclaimer
Version 1.0 · Effective 2 September 2026 · Last updated 2 September 2026
Project Guru provides general project planning and construction information generated using automated tools and construction-based guidance. It cannot inspect your property and may not identify hidden defects, structural conditions or site-specific risks.
What you must verify
Before commencing any work you must verify:
- measurements and quantities
- product compatibility and manufacturer instructions
- Building Regulations and planning permission
- structural suitability and statutory approvals
Specialist and regulated work
Regulated or specialist work — including gas, electrical, structural, asbestos, fire safety, load-bearing, drainage and other safety-critical work — must be carried out by appropriately competent and, where legally required, registered professionals.
This disclaimer explains the boundary between useful project guidance and site-specific professional responsibility. It does not contradict our marketing or imply the service has no value.
Affiliate & Commercial Disclosure
Version 1.0 · Effective 2 September 2026 · Last updated 2 September 2026
Project Guru may earn commission from qualifying purchases made using certain retailer links. Where a link may earn commission, we label it as an “Ad – Affiliate link” or similar clear wording at or before the link.
How it works
If you buy through an affiliate link, Project Guru may receive a commission from the retailer or network. The retailer (or its affiliate network) pays the commission; this does not increase the price you pay unless a particular programme passes a cost on, in which case we will say so.
Affiliate commission is secondary to the user recommendation. Product and retailer selection is based on suitability, specification match, safety, availability and price; affiliate status does not determine inclusion or ranking. Where no affiliate relationship exists, Project Guru may still link directly to the retailer so the user can purchase the appropriate product.
Labels you will see
Affiliate-linked entries are clearly labelled “Ad – Affiliate link” with nearby wording such as “If you buy through this link, Project Guru may receive a commission.” Where a whole recommendation block consists of affiliate-linked products, its commercial nature is made clear before you interact with it.
Acceptable Use & User Content Policy
Version 1.3 · Effective 10 September 2026 · Last updated 10 September 2026
This policy explains what you may and may not do when using Project Guru and submitting content.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Project Guru lawfully and not to misuse the service, interfere with its security, or attempt to access data you are not entitled to.
You must not use Project Guru to copy, clone, scrape, systematically extract, reverse engineer, decompile, reproduce or reconstruct the platform, its proprietary workflows, generation methodology, prompt structures, procurement logic, database structures or commercial operating methods, except to the limited extent that applicable law gives you a non-excludable right to do so.
You must not use automated tools, repeated requests, bulk extraction or benchmarking principally intended to reproduce Project Guru or create a competing or substantially derivative commercial product.
You must not use Project Guru source code, outputs, reports, data, benchmarks or repeated queries to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop a competing or substantially similar AI model, dataset, application or service without our prior written permission, except where applicable law gives you a non-excludable right.
You must not register or use a company or trading name, domain name, social-media handle, logo, advertising or presentation that falsely implies it is Project Guru or is authorised by, sponsored by or connected with Bespoke Projects Construction Ltd.
You must not share account credentials or access tokens, evade rate limits or technical controls, or use another person’s access to obtain content or functionality you are not entitled to receive.
You must not select or declare Personal use for a project that is actually being delivered to a paying client or used as part of a commercial construction, property, design, consultancy or project-management service in order to avoid the Professional licence price.
You must not remove, obscure or misrepresent copyright, trade mark, licence, document-reference or other Project Guru provenance markings in order to conceal the source, evade a licence restriction or present a Personal output as licensed commercial work.
User content
You retain rights in content you upload and grant the limited licence described in the Terms & Conditions. You must have the right to upload any content and must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, misleading or malicious.
We may remove or restrict content where necessary to protect the service, users or third parties, subject to applicable law.
